A Defibrillator is now available in a box attached to front of the Afon Duad Public House.
Sion and Sandra from Afonduad Inn have some information re road safety in the Village.
Good news, especially for the Hoel Y Bwt turn off. A new speed limit of 40mph
is to be introduced in the approach to the village from Cynwyl Elfed.
Cwmduad will also benefit from four new vehicle activated signs,
which will be erected throughout the village in both directions.
They cannot say when but it is part of the project up to Cenarth,
as Rhos etc has been done I am hoping we are next.
A new venture - "Crafty Ladies" - involving various handicrafts, had its initial meeting on 14th October.
It meets fortnightly on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, between 2pm and 4pm.

The 'Coffee Morning' on the 2nd Thursday of every month in the Community Centre will now start at 11.00am instead of 2.00pm.!

Tai Chi classes are now held in the Community Centre every Monday between 1.30pm and 2.30pm.
These consist of a set of smooth, flowing exercises used to improve or maintain health, create a sense of relaxation.
This Chinese system of slow meditative physical exercise is designed for relaxation and balance and health.
They are designed to achieve a physical and mental balance and can also be very helpful in preventing recurrences of low back pain.
These gentle exercises are suitable for all ages and abilities.
